About Dr. Lauren Melamed
I am a licensed and board certified counselor in Illinois, practicing since 2013. With a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Penn State University, I bring both clinical expertise and academic insight to my practice.
As full-time faculty at Adler University and recipient of the Illinois Counselor Educator of the Year award in 2019, I am committed to advancing the field of counseling while providing compassionate care to my clients.
My approach centers on helping you narrate your life with full autonomy through a collaborative, respectful, and empowering process that focuses on the stories you tell yourself about your life.
